Welcome to Morgan Park Middle School, the Home of the Wildcats. We are a "True Middle School" grades 6, 7 & 8, on the West side of town. We promote the growth of young adolescents as scholars, democratic citizens, and increasingly competent, self-sufficient young people who are optimistic about their future. At Morgan Park, students are divided up into small teams and really get to know their teachers. Teachers are in teams and have planning time to help organize their students and help them in any way they can. We have a 15-minute homebase during the student day. They develop an advisor/advisee relationship with their homebase teacher in a small 16-18 child setting. In homebase students work on academics, social issues, along with other various activities. We also have a strong intramural and after school program for all students. We are very proud of what we are doing at Morgan Park and welcome all students and parents to join our team.
