Intent to Participate in the Big Fill
Any teacher who is properly licensed and not currently holding a secondary assignment, including elementary licensed for grade 6, residential site teachers, elementary specialists, Unity High School, those assigned district wide, may take part in the fill by submitting the Intent to Participate. The intent form is available on this web site and should be submitted online. Declaring your intent to participate will mean that you will voluntarily displace yourself from your current position and your current position will be posted and filled at a later date in the normal fashion.
The deadline is Friday, April 2, 2010.
Elementary Displacements and Elementary Participation in the Big Fill
The posting and filling elementary positions will follow the normal contractual provisions and procedures for posting and filling of vacant positions. Elementary teachers who wish to apply for 6th grade positions must complete the Intent to Participate section online and hit submit. This will automatically displace you from your current position and that position will be posted with the elementary postings. Those elementary teachers who are being displaced because of lack of positions in your building or such as those at Grant and wish to participate in the Big Fill process, will need to complete the Intent to Participate section online and hit submit to be placed on the list of those who will participate. They will be ranked by seniority.
