Piedmont Elementary School
2012-2013 Supply List

KINDERGARTEN
These are the only items needed:

  • 1 box Crayola 24 count crayons  
  • 1 bottle Elmers glue (white)  
  • 1 box of 24 pencils (no design)
  • 5 glue sticks
  • 3 folders- 1 blue, 1 red, 1 purple (no design)  
  • 1 box snack sized zippered Baggies  
  • 1 pair of gym shoes to stay at school (Velcro)  
  • 1 large zippered backpack (no wheels)
  • 1 t-shirt for Art (no buttons)  
  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: sandwich bags, hand sanitizer or baby wipes, gallon sized zippered bags, Clorox wipes          
  • *Please do not send extra folders or pencil boxes.

FIRST GRADE

  • 1 backpack

  • 1 pair of gym shoes (Velcro)

  • 12 #2 yellow pencils
  •  2 erasers
  • 5 glue sticks
  • 1 4 oz. Glue bottle

  • 1 box 24 count Crayola crayons

  • 1 pair of scissors (child safe)

  • washable markers- 1 box wide (fat) and 1 box thin (skinny)-8 basic colors

  • 2-3 plain 2-pocket folders (no design)

  • 1 t-shirt for Art (no buttons)

  • 1 box of Kleenex  

  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer   

SECOND GRADE

  • 4 pocket folders, (yellow, blue, green, red
  • 5 glue sticks
  • 1 large box of Kleenex  
  • 24 #2 pencils (no mechanical)
  • 10 pencil top erasers  
  • 1 48-count box of crayons  
  • 1 box markers  
  • 1 notebook (wide ruled)  
  • 1 pencil sharpener
  • 1 ruler (inch and centimeter ruled)
  • 1 24-count pack of colored pencils
  • 1 pair of gym shoes (to keep in school)
  • 1 t-shirt for Art (no buttons)
  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer  

     

THIRD GRADE

  •  20 #2 pencils
  • 2 wide ruled spiral notebooks
  • 4 2-pocket folders (red, green, blue, yellow)
  • 1 pair of scissors (child safe)  
  • 1 glue stick; no white glue*
  • 1 box of colored pencils*
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex*
  • 1 pair of clean gym shoes that stay at school
  • 1 box 24 count crayons
  • 1 t-shirt for Art (no buttons)
  • OPTIONAL ITEMS: Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer

FOURTH GRADE

  • 1 backpack or book bag

  • 1-2 boxes Kleenex
  • 5 wide-ruled notebooks
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 pkg. of pencil top erasers
  • #2 pencils (40)
  • 1 pair Fiskars scissors
  • two-pocket folders (4); plain or solid colors
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 1 box of markers
  • boots required for winter
  • 1 pair of clean gym shoes that remain in school
  • school box or zippered bag (for locker storage)
  • 4 whiteboard markers
 

FIFTH GRADE

  • 20 pencils
  • Crayola markers (10 or 20 pack)
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 plain T-shirt for Art (no buttons)
  • 1 basic calculator
  • 4 dry erase markers
  • 1 pair Fiskars scissors
  • colored pencils
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 20 erasers (pencil top)
  • 10 notebooks, spiral bound
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 10 pocket folders
  • 1 pair of gym shoes (shoes not worn to school) that remain at school
  • NO TRAPPER KEEPERS
