Personal Memories...  

Stories below were written  by visitors to the Open House on July 18, 2003 and to various class reunions in 2004 and 2005 at the Central Administration Building, 1890s Classroom Museum, and Clock Tower. The stories appear below in random order--the order they were in when handed to me.  I have tried to copy the stories as written.  If the story's author signed his/her name or nickname--and I did not have too much trouble reading the handwriting-- I have included it.  If he/she included the class year, I have included that also.  I may have misspelled someone's name.  If so, it is because I have lost my ability--which was very sharp when I taught junior highers--to decipher handwriting.  Please feel free to email Tricia Stoch at pstoch@charter.net with corrections or changes.

The photo above right shows a reunion visitor sitting at one of the Classroom Museum's desks, a desk which she might have sat in when she attended Central as a student, a desk at which she might have written one of the stories below.
