My mom and I went to this newly built school in the Soronko District of Mbale Uganda. My second trip I brought school supplies and books to the students and teachers and presented the school with pen pal materials from my mom's school, Lowell Elementary, and my aunt's school, Sawtooth Elementary. In addition, the money raised by Lowell School will be used to build a new school as they have over 100 students in this small one-room mud room. The students shared songs, poems, a skit, and interest in the exchange.
